Today room 3 had been Reading some articles of Literacy Planet. For todays Reading I decided to read about " Why you should always tell the truth". Here are some things I found out.
In the original story, The Adventures of Pinocchio, written between 1881-1883, the author Carlo Collodi depicts a wooden boy who has all the characteristics of a real boy, albeit, a very naughty boy. As soon as Geppetto, his father, creates Pinocchio in his workshop (for Geppetto is a woodcarver who dreams to have a son), Pinocchio immediately gets up to all sorts of mischief. He laughs at Geppetto and runs away from him. He lies and tells all sorts of fanciful stories to avoid getting in trouble. Pinocchio quickly learns that telling a lie will help him avoid getting into trouble at least in the short term.
I recommend you guys to read this story because it helps you not to lie, always tell the truth and become a better person. This is a really fun and true story to read. This story has helped me and taught me a lesson and that is , to always tell the truth right or wrong! I give this story a 100 star rate...
